Srinagar, May 22 (KNO): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday organized two Tiranga rallies in Srinagar to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor. The first rally was organized by senior BJP leader and DDC member Er Aijaz Hussain, while the other one was led by Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, in a Shikara from Dal Lake to Nehru Park. As per the details collected by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Tiranga Bike Rally from Pantha Chowk to Lal Chowk was joined by dozens of bike riders carrying the national flag, who chanted patriotic slogans as they passed through the city’s main roads. Later, addressing the gathering at Ghanta Ghar, Er Aijaz said, “Kashmiri’s are nationalists by heart. They have made immense sacrifices for the nation,” he said, adding that the turnout of youth at the rally reflects growing support for peace and development. Later, the second rally was led by BJP National Executive Member and Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, in Dal Lake from Zero Bridge Ghat to Nehru Park. The Shikara rally was organized by BJP Zadibal Constituency and saw participation of party leaders and locals from various backgrounds. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Andrabi said that India’s precision strikes during Operation Sindoor are being hailed not only within the country but also by global defence think tanks. “Our Make in India defence systems have proven their strength. The world is now witnessing a new India that does not tolerate terrorism,” she said. Similarly, both events concluded with a message of unity and national pride—(KNO)
